WRITING PROJECTS

As a freelance writer and speaker, I am always in process of many writing projects and talking to whoever will listen. My passion for parents and families is the undercurrent for all I write and do.

I regularly write and submit articles, stories, and devotionals for publication. I have an article and devotional featured in Cup of Comfort Book of Bible Promises (Spring 2010; Adams Media) and Cup of Comfort Devotional for Mothers and Daughters (March 10, 2009; Adams Media). My articles have been featured in the online magazines Now What? and CBN.com, and I have written many devotionals for church use. My skits and monologues have been performed at marriage conferences and churches, as well as my 5-week mini-series, The Funks at Christmas.

I’ve spoken at MOPS meetings as well as writer’s groups and am continuing to expand my speaking ministry as well. I am currently working on a nonfiction book for parents on how to have fun, laughter, and joy with your kids in spite of the daily mayhem that surrounds.
