WRITING PROJECTS

As a freelance writer, I am always in process of many writing projects. My heart’s passion lies with parents and families. This passion is the undercurrent for all I write and do.

I am currently working on a nonfiction book for parents. A parent’s journey involves a few ups, downs, tunnels, turns, and pitfalls. As parents, we need a seat belt for the journey. It is my hope that this book will provide tools necessary to transform today's domestic mayhem into a home bursting with happiness and fulfilled lives.

I regularly write and submit articles, stories, and devotionals for publication. Cup of Comfort Devotional for Mothers and Daughters (March 10, 2009; Adams Media) features one of my devotionals. My articles, Stopping the Show and Illusion of Greatness were featured in the online magazines Now What? and CBN.com. One of my articles will also be featured in Cup of Comfort Book of Bible Promises (Publication February 2010).

I’ve written various skits and monologues, along with a 5-week mini-series, The Funks at Christmas. This mini-series depicted a dysfunctional family just trying to get through the holidays. With humor, the never-ending extended family stresses unravel rapidly and everything melts down on Christmas. The relevant situations displayed are mirrors reflected in a typical family, but the relationship resolutions will tug at your heart and give you hope for your own struggles in this area. I have had the fortunate experience to watch all my skits and dramas come to life on stage.

If you are interested in more information about any of my writing projects, drop me a note. I’d love to hear from you!

Stay tuned for more updated information and happenings.
