As a writer, my heart's passion is for parents and family. Being a parent is the most incredible experience. It's the ultimate ride of all roller coasters. One minute you are enjoying the sun's warmth and breeze blowing through your hair with a breathtaking view from up top. The next, you unexpectedly swerve into a dark tunnel that sprung up from nowhere. After jerking up, down, and sideways, you are thrust into the daylight only to plunge down deep. Just when you are able to catch your breath you glide across a thin layer of water and hide your head so your hair doesn't get wet. But in the end, you're drenched. What an invigorating ride!
